Restraining Surface Charge Accumulation and Enhancing Surface Flashover Voltage through Dielectric Coating

A conductive metallic particle in a gas-insulated metal-enclosed system can charge through conduction or induction and move between electrodes on insulating surfaces, which may lead to breakdown flashover. The the charging time vary depending spatial electric field intensity, shape, electrode surface coating. charged under influence of field, it discharge become electrically when colliding with electrodes, thus changing its charge. This process factors are mainly affected by coating condition electrode. In addition, interface characteristics affect is near insulator. transition also changes due strength state. paper explores impact material characteristics, movement, discharge. Particle charging, transfer DC, AC, superimposed fields summarized. Furthermore, effects particles compared coated bare electrodes. reviewed studies demonstrate that effectively reduce probability presented research results provide theoretical support data for studying theory design optimization system.
